When you leave the Welcome Tent at the port, turn right. Look for our experienced guides wearing blue jackets and our waiting coaches.

Your tour will begin approximately 30 minutes after the first passenger leaves the ship.

• Ships docking before 8:00am: Please leave the ship at 8:00am.
• Ships docking after 8:00am: Please leave the ship as soon as it docks. Our guide and coach will be waiting at the port.
• We adjust the tour schedule to suit your ship’s arrival and departure times.
• We will return you to Belfast Port in plenty of time for your ship’s departure.

We have designed this Giant’s Causeway tour from Belfast for cruise ship passengers to make the most of your limited time in Northern Ireland.

Rather than following the busiest tour pattern, our route is planned to help you avoid some of the larger tour groups and spend more time enjoying the attractions.

The tour includes the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Portaneevy, Ballycastle, Carnlough and a Belfast city tour before returning to Belfast Cruise Port.

Tour Itinerary

1. Belfast Cruise Port to the Giant’s Causeway

We depart from Belfast Cruise Port and travel directly towards the Giant’s Causeway.

You will have approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to explore the Giant’s Causeway and surrounding area, including time to visit the stones and visitor centre.

2. Dunluce Castle and Portaneevy

After the Giant’s Causeway, we continue to Dunluce Castle, where we make a photo stop overlooking the dramatic ruins.

We then make the short journey to Portaneevy, where you can enjoy spectacular views towards Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Rathlin Island.

3. Ballycastle Lunch Stop

Next, we visit the picturesque seaside town of Ballycastle.

You will have approximately 1 hour for lunch and to explore the town before continuing along the scenic Antrim Coast.

4. Antrim Coast Road and Carnlough

We continue along the Antrim Coast Road, widely regarded as one of Northern Ireland’s most scenic coastal routes.

Along the way, we stop in the charming harbour village of Carnlough for a short comfort break.

5. Belfast City Tour

From Carnlough, we travel back towards Belfast along the coastal route.

Before returning to the cruise port, enjoy an extended Belfast city tour, with views of some of the city’s famous landmarks and areas, including:

• Belfast’s famous wall murals
• The Peace Walls
• Falls Road
• Shankill Road
• Titanic Quarter

We then return to Belfast Cruise Port, allowing plenty of time for your ship’s departure.

Ballycastle Lunch Stop

Enjoy approximately 1 hour in Ballycastle, a charming seaside town on the Causeway Coast.

This gives you time to have lunch, explore the town and experience a little of local life before continuing your journey along the Antrim Coast.

For cancellations made within 7 days of your tour, a full refund will be issued if we are able to resell your seat.

If your cruise ship does not dock at Belfast Port for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
